1. After Life - Netflix. Recommend that you keep your galaxies far far away from this poorly written show. This is Idiocracy in space except the writers don’t know it. Imagine if the CW and MTV somehow took over the space program and you sort of get the idea except its worse. Katee Sackhoff deserves to be in another great series and it is a damn shame this isn’t it.

2. The Lady Astronaut books by Mary Robinette Kowal. An excellent, fun alternative history sci-fi series that just made me smile the whole way through both books. I’m looking forward to the next 3!

Someone needs to take the Lady Astronaut series, hire Mary Kowal as the head writer, and give this story the stellar show it deserves (and put Katee in it while you’re at it)!
